CH Treasures Falcon Del Star SH OA OAJ WDX
was bred to
Treasure Lake
Steve's Night Owl JH
Falcon and Night Owl are both wonderful dogs to work with, they are willing to try anything. Falcon has had one litter bred to Ch Pond Hollow Tornado which produced seven lovely puppies (see the 2007 puppy page or Condors page). Falcon loves agility, conformation and retrieving. She's been my "right-hand girl" for several years now. She goes everywhere with me and is really fun to work with. She loves to roo roo at me when I make mistakes in agility, of course she thinks all the mistakes are mine. She loves mornings and greeting everyone as they wake up with her roo roo's. Falcon enjoys the time we spend together in the duck blind and she's very good when out hunting. Night Owl has been a hoot to work with. He's got more enthusiasm then he knows what to do with. He's always up for anything and makes us laugh with his attempts at trying to please when he doesn't know what we want, he just keeps trying. Night Owl got his JH very easy at 11 months of age. He loves retrieving, agility and showing. He can't walk past a pond without falling in and going for a swim, a dog after my own heart, I love swimming. Night Owl has started collecting points in the conformation ring for his championship, he's even went Best Of Breed in March 2008. Night Owl has 6 points toward his championship. He's a very serious house dog but very much a puppy when he's playing. This will be Night Owl's first breeding, he isn't available as a stud dog until his hips pass OFA. I will still guarantee the hips of these puppies with my normal guarantee. These should be very fun loving, hard working, beautiful puppies. Since these are two of my favorites I'm really excited and looking forward to these puppies. I did keep a male from this breeding. They should excel in the show ring, at agility, obedience or hunting.

Mr. Light Blue flew to Florida.
Treasure Lake Raising Cain "Cain"
His owners named him "Cain" hope they end up with sugar cain not
a hurricane.
Hi, I hope all is well. I am going to send you some wonderful pictures of Cain (Mr. Lt. Blue) at the beach. He absolutely loved it. I didn't force the water on him, but he ran up to it right away got himself acclimated and within an hour he was swimming out there. I had to keep bringing him back in because he was so exhausted yet he continued to come out in the water if i was there.Just like a good cheesie he stayed by us never bothering with anyone else or running off. He is doing great with obedience, he can sit- stay, down, come( we are still working on that one), shake. I hired a trainer, she wants to do some rally with him. we shall see. I will send you the pictures as soon as i get them from my sister. Enjoy your summer. Thanks for Cain, he is everything we hoped for. Tammy 8/1/08
Cain is wonderful. He sitting by my feet (chewing,
chewing, chewing)as I type this letter. He loves to swim and loves to
roo in the morning(just like his mom). He is amazing at staying, he has
impressed everyone with his ability to focus at such a young age.
Just out of curiousity, I wanted to know how much time to you have to
dedicate to training for a rally? I can not wait to send you the
pictures of him swimming in the ocean. They are awesome. He is great
with the kids and they are so in love with him. However, sometimes he
wants to use them as a chew toy.
Please donate any money you owe me to the CBR rescue. I can't wait to
see all of the pictures of the other little pups. I hope you have a
relaxing fall. I will send you the beach pictures of Cain as soon as I
get them. Thanks.

Mr. Dark Blue is living in Niles, OH.
Mr. Dark Blue's new name in Cayden Bridger
The puppy's name is Cayden Bridger. The umbilical
hernia looks smaller
but not gone. Cayden is learning his commands, sit, stay & come are
doing well. working on the down command. He starts puppy class on
Aug
23rd. Cayden has been swimming in a farm pond two times. He has also
been swimming in two of our friends pools. He sees the water &
he
is in it. William 8/19/2008
Mr. Little Red went to Scottsdale, PA.
Mr. Little Red is now "Capone."
Capone has been growing like a weed. He know
ways about 55 pounds
and is absolutely wonderful with the kids. It is amazing how
gentle he
is with them. I have attached a few picture of him that we just
recently took. The vet says everything is fine with him. We
are still
waiting for his one testicle to drop and he does currently have entopia
(not sure if I spelled that right.) However it is improving our
vet thinks he
just needs some time to let his head grow a little more. He
is
completely potty trained, loves his crate only at bedtime and after we
moved it into the kids room. As for behavior he is "pretty
good" he
listens very well in the house hasn't really chewed anything of
importance (maybe a Happy Meal toy or 2 ) but to be honest I am
happy
to throw those away. He's really not getting the fetch thing
though
but its our fault. The kids think it is great fun to chase him
when
they play fetch so he thinks it is a game of keep away- we'll keep
working on it but I am not too optimistic. We also need to work
on
"come" we were getting but we have regressed once again he thinks
keep
away is quite fun even if he has nothing in his mouth. As
you can see
in the pictures he is a big part of our family and we can't really
imagine life without him. Becky 12/15/2008
Hi Kathy- Capone formerly known as little Red is doing just wonderfully. He has grown sooo much. My husband is not home and I am afraid that I am technologically challenged but I promise we will send some pictures soon. He has such a wonderful temprament with the kids even when they try to "help" him by carrying him, pulling him, and oh yes my personal favorite help him play "hide and seek" in the sand box. He is learning so fast. We don't really have any accidents in the house anymore and he sleeps in his crate at night for 8-9 hours at night without having to go out for a potty break. We are so thankful to have him in our family and could not ask for a better pet -although I do think he has a little bit of his father in him as in, " Who loves to flip his water bowl and lay in it?" I promise to send pictures soon but just wanted to give you a little update. Sean 8/14/08
Mr. Light Green is joining the Treasure Lake crew in
Ohio.
Mr. Light Green's new name (for now) is Treasure Lake's
Kathy's Golden Eagle "Eagle"
Eagle is down in Kentucky taking Adele back to
college. What an adventure for him. Went swimming with his
fater Who yesterday. Who will be staying with Adele for the next
few months helping her study. Can't talk her into keeping Eagle,
something about not having time to potty train him. As always the
last kid doesn't have any pictures to post, guess I'll have to work
harder on taking some, he's so cute even if he does need to go outside
every fifteen minutes so there are no accidents inside. He
travels well and takes anything we throw at him just sitting down and
watching. We've also toyed with calling him Treasure Lake's
Adele's Velociraptor "Raptor" if Steve doesn't complete his
eagle scout badge this year. Kathy 8/17/08

Mr. Dark Green living in Massillon, OH.
Mr Dark Green is now Treasure Lake Hunter "Hunter"
Hunter is doing great. He went to the vet on Saturday
and got another
shot and the vet says he is doing great. He says that he has never meet
a dog so well mannered. He is up to 29 lbs. While we were there he
never once barked at the other dogs. He is such a joy to be around. I
attached another picture of Hunter. He is laying on the base of the
fireplace. He is so cute. Oh, almost forgot to tell you. We put our
grandchildren's swingset in the backyard, he runs up the slid and slids
down on his little butt. 9/2/08
Hi Kathy, here are some pictures for you. He is so much fun. He really has gotten a lot taller. As we take more pictures I will send them. The one labeled Hunter is he acting crazy when held, the one hunter 1 is him sitting in his big back yard and hunterinbed well he loves his bed. One funny thing is when we tell him time for bed he will sit outside his cage and look up at you and bark a little. Just like a child not wanting to go to bed. Then when he goes in he will bark a low bark then go to sleep. Well I hope you enjoy the pictures. Thank you again. Mike 8/11/08

Mr.
Black went to Bessemer, AL.
Mr. Black's new name is Treasure Lake Nemo "Nemo"
Mr. Black is now Nemo (even has the "n" on his chest)! He has adjusted well. Siren is getting accustomed to not being the baby canine of the house. Bonnie and Clyde (the adult cats) like him. Dash (the kitten) does not yet, but he'll come around.
When we got home Sunday Nemo had to help me pick the tomatoes in the garden. I'm including some pictures and will send others and he grows.
Hope all is well with all of you. Stay in touch and take care, Johanna 8/8/08
