![]() Chesa - Miss Shiny Green is moving to N. Canton OH to live with three special little girls. Chesa is wonderful and turned into a real sweetie . She spent all summer swimming in our pool with the girls . She is tremendously active out side and mostly well behaved inside finally 12/8/2010 |
Miss Gold is being Co-owned by Treasure Lake and will stay in Hudson, OH. Treasure Lake Juneau "Juneau" For more pictures please see her page. |
![]() Maya - Miss Yellow is moving to MI to be with three special children. Maya is doing very well. She is affectionate and playful, and fits in perfectly with our family. She is always wrestling and running with the kids, but likes to curl up right next to you and cuddle too. She still has a little trouble with jumping on people when they first come in, but we are working on it. Potty training has been done for a long time now, and she hasn't had a accident in ages. We decided last summer to get an electric fence around our property, so she has free range of our yard (about 2 acres), but cant go out in the road, or visiting the neighbors. We live on a dead end road, so there isnt any traffic, but she liked to go say hi and get a treat from our neighbors, and we were concerned for her safety if she ran across the street. Everyone (and their dogs) have to come say hello to her now. Her best friend is Milo, the golden retriever who lives next door. 1/26/2011 I just wanted to give you an update on Maya! She is doing great! She graduated from puppy kindergarten from Obedience Dynamics last night, and was the star of her class, getting perfect marks on everything she was tested on. She knows sit, stay, down, come and look right now, and does them pretty consistently. Maya has been a great addition to our family, and has the perfect mellow, yet playful personality. she is very affectionate and likes nothing better than to be cuddled up to one of our kids. They LOVED taking her to class and practicing what she had learned when they came home. 2/9/2010 |
![]() Holly - Miss Red is moving to Grove City, OH. We named her Christmas Holly and we call her Holly. She is wonderful! She is so smart and she knows it...lol She is finishing up her first puppy school and she the smartest pup in the class. She has got the sit, down, and stay down pretty good and she even learned to ring a bell by the door when she wants to go out. She loves were visits to my parents house to visit their boston terrior. She can't quite catch her yet but has fun trying. She is loving all this snow were getting. Well I will keep you updated and let me know if you can't view the pictures and I will send them a different way. Thanks for everything we couldn't have asked for a better puppy. 2/5/2010. |
Ken & Tuck then and now, some things never change, isn't that great. I just adore that guy & I'm to sexy for my scarf & water world. Mr. Green is looking forward to hunting with Ken in PA. Ken loves his dog, they are truly best friends...and Ken is no doubt his master, best friend, and always together.... they totally love each other...wish i had pictures of them bird hunting, but I am never there when they hunt...hopefully one day...Ken says Tuck loves to bird hunt! 12/8/2010 |
![]() Griffin - Mr. Blue is looking forward to living in Rhode Island. He is calm, loyal and playful. A bragging moment: when we were hiking, Griffin was ahead with the kids. A deer broke in front of them, within 15yards. He pointed at it (is this a normal Chessie thing, because he does it quite a bit) and then sat down in front of the kids. Never chased it. I have not owned nor seen a dog that would not chase a deer. But, I truly think he was guarding the kids, not in an overprotective way, but more of, these are my small pack members, I stick with them. He is still intact, we want to wait at least until he is done growing. He has had a mild bout with panosetitis, which took about 10 days to clear up. Had xrays done to be sure, and you will be glad to know the vet said his hips are "gorgeous, like a textbook of how hips should look." It was during a huge growth spurt a couple months ago, when he was gaining almost a 2 pounds a week. We have done several obedience classes, and will start the agility in a more formal way once he is done growing for sure, which should be in another 3-6 months according to how the growth plates were looking a couple months ago with the Xrays. I have started him on going through ladders, and around things. He is such a calm, responsive dog, and very alert. It is the perfect combination. Everywhere we go, people comment on how well behaved he is for such a large, young dog. He is a favorite at the childrens' school, which we walk to a couple times a week. I have exposed him to as many people and places as I can, and continue doing so. He is unflappable. If he is unsure about something, he gives the boof-ing bark, and when told it's ok, he relaxes. The roo-roos are just crazy when he is excited! He loves playing by himself with the tennis ball. By the same token, getting him to settle down (say, in a down at dinnertime when we are eating) takes very little effort, just having him focus on me then he will settle down. I would like to say that all of these amazing traits are due to my stellar training, but I think he gets much more than 1/2 the credit! He is responsive to the children as well. When my 3 yr old daughter, whom he outweighs by 65 lbs, tells him to sit, drop his ball, come, down, fetch it, his is responsive and also knowledgeable about how much bigger he is. He never jumps, mouths, snaps, etc children, no matter how exciting things get (of course, I am also always there, but I do have my children and their friends do brief training stints with him whenever there are children over). Both children can have him sit and stay for his food. They take turns feeding him breakfast. My 6 yr old son loves doing retreiving with him (bumper and training ducks, in and out of the water), and Griffin will obey him well. They also invented a game together with a soccer ball, where Ian has taught Griffin how to pass the ball to him using his feet. Ok, so this was full of bragging moments. . . truly, he is a splendid dog, and if all people were like Griffin, the world would be one fun place all the time. 12/2010 |

Falcon &
Denver
Denver is 24.5” 90lbs properly coated,
well-boned, correct conformation and a gorgeous head. On the
temperament side, he has a fabulous disposition.
He is one of the favorites when people come to visit at the kennel. In
the field, he is a focused, stylish and determined retriever who LOVES
the water particularly surfing the ocean waves. Both
grand-sires -paternal and maternal- & his maternal grand-dam are
outstanding retrievers and specimens of the breed. Denver’s
litter, itself, has proven to be one of the most talented we have bred.
Puppies from his first litters are showing bone, short backs and strong
rears with good balance of angles. Dyane Baldwin (owner).
More information on Denver can be found on the Pond Hollow website.

Falcon is and always has been my favorite girl to work
with. Puppies from her first two litters are fantastic. The
two puppies I kept are Condor and Eagle you can see them on their
pages. For more information on Falcon and more pictures please
take a look at her page. I'm so excited that this breeding is
finally going to take place. I'm hoping for many beautiful
puppies and would love to keep a girl.
